Can't open my flash disk

I've tried to open my flash disc but it says that I need to format it, I can't afford to do this because I'll lose valuable information that I have stored on it, how can this be resolved. Also its seems to now have been renamed as ChipsBnk flash disk USB device, it didn't go by this name previously
